I've had problems in the past with AntiMalarials (Once I was so spaced out I could have gone to Amsterdam instead...) so I avoid them if at all possible.
However I wouldn't risk anywhere in Africa (or any jungle area in Asia) if it was a known Malaria area that I was likely to be visiting.
As I understand it Malaria really isn't fun (Same with Dengue fever).

Hello Buddy,

You can try Atovaquone/proguanil tablets on arrival and even after visiting Tanzania for 2 weeks as the medic will prescribe it for you!
