Recommendation for future enhancement: I do wish once a photo has been edited the system took you back to where you were last working in the list rather than back to the beginning of your photos. (Necessitating country selection anew and advancing again to the needed place in the photo queue.)

If you hold own the control key when clicking on 'edit', the edit page will open in a new tab. When you save that will revert to the start of the list, but you can close that tab and return to the previous one which will have stayed where you were in the list. That's what I do to get around this problem :)

Brilliant, Sarah! That does it!

Hi is there still a way to get the content out of Travbuddy.com?

Much thanks.

Jen

Sorry Jen, they just shut down the whole thing and said they deleted everything on the day it shut down as well so the chance of them offering some kind of way of downloading the data later is slim to none.

The only real place you'd possibly find anything is on Archive.org . You won't be able to log in to your old account though, and the coverage won't be complete, but maybe it's enough to get a few bits of content out.

It does not appear all blog pages copied over. (Queue says I have 4 tasks to go, so perhaps some are in there.)

I had some issues with your account (not your fault, but a bug in my code). It took a little wrangling to make these 4 import at last, but they should all be there now.

Also, to the others in this thread.. there's nothing in the queue at all at the moment and so far only 10 members have done the final stage out of a possible 148.

I have some servers running dedicated to this process and would rather they don't sit idle as that just means extra costs for no benefit. So please set your imports going!

I tried twice importing one of my blogs but each time got an error. Did I do something wrong?

I selected the blog "Ski Trip Harrachov"
I did not select Trip Maps.
Photos from imported blogs
Imported entries into one single blog
No, create a new blog
Publish immediately

On the next page it said "An unknown error occured" (or so) and that you would be notified.

Try this at internet archive:
https://web.archive.org/web/*/www.travbuddy.com/breezejen

You'll have to hunt around and see what was archived from 2010-2015. Some stuff will be there, but likely not complete. Salvage what you can from it.

So now I'm worried again, One blog is imported (as I meant it to be) and I can work with that one, so thats fine
But how about the rest of them? The page still says - Your import is under way-Tasks in the queue-
Completed: 255. Its like that for a week now
I was expecting to get the list of blogs again and select the import for the next blog (or rather the rest of it in one Blog seperate from the one I alreaduy did)
Did I make a mistake , or do I have to be patient still?

Well, I hadn't really made it for multiple uses. So it's done what you requested and considered it completed :) I'll look at it today or tomorrow and tweak it to allow a second go at the import.
