I'm in Costa Rica for 2 weeks. The first week I spend in a jungle. The second week I'm in San Jose. Does anyone have any suggestions of what to see or where to go? Should I stay in San Jose, or try to visit some other places closeby? For example, I heard San Jose is a bit touristy, and you can see it in 2 days, so maybe I don't want to stay there a whole week

Bypassing all I've said about San Jose, there really isn't more than a couple of days to spend in the town. Everything is sort of close by in San Jose. You could go up to Arenal. That would be cool. You could go out to Tamarindo on the Pacific side, that would be cool. But do something. My very strong suggestion is that you don't spend a week bumming around San Jose.

I would suggest you should try to visit some other places. Make use of the time while you are there! Enjoy :)

In San Jose, Costa Rica’s, you can visit Neoclassical National Theatre of Costa Rica overlooking downtown Plaza de la Cultura, La Sabana Metropolitan Park and Museo Nacional de Costa Rica’s. These are well-known tourist destinations in Costa Rica’s.
