Hello Sophia; welcome to TravellersPoint.

I think you'll find that most members here will have heard of the DMZ and many who have been to South Korea will have visited it. USO in Seoul do daily trips to the JSA and Panmunjom. The recent information from the DMZ is that South Korea has abandoned the broadcasting of propaganda to North Korea and dismantled the loudspeaker towers.

Hi, as example

The Korean Demilitarized Zone is a strip of land running across the Korean Peninsula. It is established by the provisions of the Korean Armistice Agreement to serve as a buffer zone between the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (North Korea) and the Republic of Korea (South Korea)
