Need help on Stockholm travel card

Hello travellers

Please help me to figure out what kind of transport travel ticket I should get in Stockholm in coming sept.
I will arrive at Stockholm airport at 10 pm on the first day. Next 3 days will be wandering around Stockholm and do 3-4 top sightseeing spots. Take early flight on the fourth day.

I am wondering if I should buy a single ticket from the airport to the city and also on the return trip + 3 days travel card? Or should I buy just a SL card and top up when needed?

I've stayed in Sweden in 2013, it's a long time ago, but in my perspective, depends...
In late night, i'm think its better to buy the one way ticket.... so then for the next 3 days it will be better to use The Stockholm Card (quite expensive, you really need to program your steps in the city, to made it really whorth the money.. if you really will be only in Stockholm itself...)
IMHO two days for the city itself is enought!
Don't miss Uppsala (reachable by train..)
If i'm not wrong, the "Pendeltag" (some sort of Express Train, NOT the Arlanda Express) is you best choice....
I've paid, in my case, around 130Kr one way ticket to Uppsala ( the airport is between Stockholm and Uppsala if i'm not wrong)..

Depends on your interests and how well you are prepared. To me, five full days were not enough in Stockholm. I feel that we barely scratched the surface.

Unless you intend to visit loads of sights and museums in a short time, you may be better off with a simple pass for public transport instead of the pricey Stockholm Card, and paying entrance fees separately.
