...it's said that september is the perfect month for outdoor activities.
Said where? For which outdoor activities? In Switzerland or somewhere else?
Yes, I was talking about switzerland. I had read an article that September is the perfect month for outdoor activities. I'll try to research for that blog/article and will comment it once I find it.

Ive often gone to Switzerland in Nov Dec or Jan because i love snow, i go for photos in all seasons but with rental car with snowtyres compulsory in the winter months then i can go anywhere.
In Dec of course aee the christmas markets and Switz has them famed in Lucerne and the one at Lske Constance is good.
There are just so many beautiful places in Switzerland that on a sunny dsy is gorgeous, if its raining its still gorgeous but rely more on the car and wslking around places such as scenic towns and museums, also the mountain trips such as jungfraujoch or zermatt if the weather is good, and ive skiied at zermatt and saas fee, and walked from chateau deoux to gstaad, are gorgeous with snow.
Montreux snd chatesu chillon are just stunning.
With a car if the weather turns bad it doesnt matter so much with an ability to make adjustments.
Nearby places such as lichtenstein, luxembourg, Colmar, Rhinefell, Annecy, Neuschwenstein in neighbouring France and Germany are considerations but theres so much on offer in Switzerland, any time of year.
People often say Interlaken when they really mean Lauterbrunnen....really one of the most beautiful parts of Switz...taking the train up to Wengen was wonderful, and on the other side of the valley up to Murren and Schilthorn for 360 degree views of mountains including the Eiger is rather a must see.

Ofcourse the spectacular night sky : northern lights must be first in the list. Visit Iceland buddy and see the beauty of Aurora Borealis.
