Abbot Abad, Mansehra, Kaghan, Naran, Lalazaar, Saif ul Malook, Lulusar Lake, Babusar Top, Shogran, Siri and Paey. I visited these all places. Simply wonderful, Amazing and real natural beauty. Lush green mountains, waterfalls, rivers, snow covered mountain peaks and much more will mesmerize you. I suggest to visit before life leave you. . Drive carefully and when you go next to Naran, do have meals, snacks and sufficient fuel to reach Chillas. Stay safe and enjoy tour

I wouldn't refer to Pakistan as 'South East Asia' personally.
South - yes, but it's not east.

The train Van (Turkey) to Tabriz/Teheran was not running last winter, according to seat61.com it is now running again, but not according to this site: http://www.iranrail.net/networklist.php (was last year buying a Teheran to Shiraz train tickets with them, because of American restrictions a strange payment system, train in Iran is very comfortable). Direct bus from Istambul to Teheran (2 days) is cheaper then anything else, usually full of disapointed (because not able to get to the EU) Iranians. The train Zahedan to Quetta is appearently running quite infrequent and the Pakistan part (Balochistan) if this trip is very unsafe: https://caravanistan.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=1752 (last entry 2017).
It will be safer via Central Asia, Kashgar (China) Karakorum pass.
