I assume you're asking how to travel from the centre of Naples to Ravello?

Option 1: Book a taxi or organise a private transfer. Doing either will not be cheap. Naples > Ravello is around 35 miles, with a journey time of at least 1h 15m and almost certainly longer.

Option 2:

1. Take the cheap, frequent Circumvesuviana commuter train from either Napoli Porta Nolana or Napoli Garibaldi station to the terminus at Sorrento (around 1h 15m). Napoli>Sorrento timetable here:

https://www.eavsrl.it/web/sites/default/files/eavferro/Napoli%20--%20Sorrento.pdf

2. Taxi from Sorrento to Ravello (about 24 miles along the Amalfi coast road, takes around 1.5 hours. Still not cheap) or catch the Sorrento > Amalfi bus. Timetable here:

http://www.sitasudtrasporti.it/orari

3. Taxi (abut 4.5 miles, around 20 minutes) or bus from Amalfi to Ravello (timetable same link as above)

Option 3:

1. Trenitalia train from Napoli Centrale to Salerno. Journey time from 40 minutes, one-way fare from 4.70 euro. Times, details and fares in English:

http://www.trenitalia.com/tcom-en

2. Taxi to Ravello (about 18 miles, just over an hour) or bus to Amalfi (timetable link as above) and change there for the bus to Ravello.

Potential ferry alternatives

If you are travelling at the right time of year (i.e. the summer months) it might be possible to include a ferry to Amalfi as part of the journey.

Travelmar runs ferries from Salerno to Amalfi: https://www.travelmar.it/en/

Alilauro run ferries from Sorrento to Amalfi:

http://www.alilauro.it/orari-e-tariffe

(Note that it's quite a long (and mostly steep downhill) walk from Sorrento Circumvesuviana station to the ferry dock. Allow at least 30-45 minutes to walk there and buy tickets from the ferry office. If you have bags, a taxi from the station is the sensible option)

Sorry I am old, what does "A A B I" suppose to mean?

My short answer would be just put the question to a Google type search and choose best option for time of day and income.

Anita "A A B I" is from post 1 by Rosann Thomson without any other explanation!

Anita - are you and Rosann Thomson the same person??

I don't know what your links have to do with Naple Italy. For transportation in Italy my short answer would be just put the question to a Google type search and choose best option for time of day and income.

I don't think the strangeness of the wording really matters.

It may be that the question is a failed attempt at spam or it may simply be that the OP failed to word a sensible post. There are any number of potential reasons for that.

Regardless of the 'AABI' weirdness, all the relevant info is here for anyone who happens upon this thread. :-)

Personally, i would take a train commuter, since you can enjoy pretty views and not be interrupted by anyone:) that is just my personal view - but have in my mind, that it's not the full option, so you need to figure out how you can get to the Ravello after the trip with the train.

>so you need to figure out how you can get to the Ravello after the trip with the train.

Sabri, in my post above I detailed all the options for getting to Ravello after taking either the Circumvesuviana train to Sorrento or the Trenitalia train to Salerno, including links to the bus timetables. No 'figuring-out' is required.

Perhaps you meant that the OP needs to decide how to travel to Ravello after arriving at Sorrento or Salerno? The OP hasn't bothered to correct 'her' question or reply to any of the posts so I'm not convinced 'she' will be making the journey at all.

It's okay to come on back! You know, answer some questions, sort of fill in the blanks!
