You are very much welcomed in this small but a very happening and prosperous city of happiness , singapore . It is surrounded by 64 islands which are too breath taking in the views . I am sure you are going to enjoy your trip here in singapore .

Singapore is a nice place to visit - BUT not cheap! (Not cheap compared to many other nearby countries.)

The city is safe. The local citizens are raised in an atmosphere of the "government knows best for everyone!" When I see tourists from Singapore in Bangkok, I think they expect Bangkok to be on a par with Mogadishu, Kabul, Baghdad or Karachi for dangers! (My opinion!) This means they often choose expensive hotels for accommodation but later on are asking for advice for cheap places to eat at to "save money!" (A cheaper hotel will save more money than eating instant noodles!) My opinion, they are afraid to use budget hotels like the many millions and millions of tourists from other countries do in Thailand all the time.

Singapore, good for a few days visit! Nice airport. Decent city transportation. Don't spit on the street, don't pee in the elevator! Old link below. Maybe some of the laws have been modified by now.
