Andy F. I guess you could be silly should you wish. I'm just some guy and have no pull... I'm just saying this was a legit question( in a vacuum), and it illicited chucklehead, dismissive, responses all the way to the Site Owner. Are we a travel advice website or not? Why mock this query?

And, I'm serious. Is there a metric for figuring out some sort of ...er...Faker?

(also, Yeah. as a Mod, you're sort of required not to be, like, silly. It's actually IN the title)

I wasn't mocking. I was very serious about the wombat.

He is a plushie, of course. You will spot him occasionally in my blogs.

This is something that's often an issue in volunteer structures. You don't have the same inducements you have for employees, so volunteers only stick around if it remains fun. Do you ask them to forego their participation?

Put another way, this is the level of serious you get from me for free. :) If Peter wants to strike a more serious tone than I provide, I'd have no issue with relinquishing my Mod hat in order to continue to be a member, silly side and all.

Well I just thought it was a fun tangent. I hope Perdi has a sense of humour. I hope everyone here has a sense of humour for that matter cause we can’t be serious all the time.

Hey come on, a bit of fun must be allowed every now and then.

Besides, the OP has never bothered to repost in neither of his/her three threads, no matter how serious the answers. I suspect that this is for some kind of schoolwork.

Can we perhaps just get back to the animals? Please!

Seriously. This is a legitimately good question.

I disagree.
It was very nearly a good question, but it was so undefined that it remained a poor question, which makes it look like a 'set-up' question where they'll suddenly come back recommending this new super duper wongle (maybe with a link) which makes all the things you usually take seem unnecessary... especially the larger animal!

Wongles will never replace penguins! ;)

I wouldn't class Penguins as 'Larger'...

I wouldn't class Penguins as 'Larger'...

Certainly not if you compare them to camels . . .
