I made a map of an upcoming trip to Ireland. I would like to include the map on a gift, as the trip is a surprise. Is there a way to make the map into a JPEG or other photo file so that I can transpose it to a paper format? Thanks in advance!!

As someone who is fairly computer -illiterate, I'd take a screen-shot, crop it until it's what I want, and than save it as a JPEG file. There might be a more technical solution.

That’s the problem. It doesn’t seem to allow to take a screen shot, print screen, copy and paste, etc.

OK - It might have more to do with your computer than with this site. I've just opened up my map, taken a screen shot ([shift] held while pressing [PRTSC]) and then I opened up a new Word document, pasted it in there, cropped it and then right clicked on it to save. It wanted to save as a PNG but I used the drop-down menu to save it as a JPEG - no problem at all.

And it works with yours too - it you want to PM me your email address, I can e-mail a JPEG of your map to you.

Windows PC? Use the Snipping Tool.

I just use print screen and then go into my Photoshop and save as a new file. Then you can crop it.

If I want to include it in mail I use print screen, is I want to use it as a picture (print or show on my Phone) I use the snipping tool. Both Always work for me even for pictures on secured websites (for personal use only btw)

On a Lenovo you need to press the key with '4 windows' while pressing the PrtSc key to print the screen. If you have a different computer, try Googling for help on your particular model
