I see elsewhere someone suggested Pattaya is unsafe. It isn't really any less safe than anywhere else in TH, however although it's grown dramatically in the last 20+ years to include much more sites for family entertainment, it's still very much a place based around single men partying.
So not a place I would recommend for families or women, unless they are extremely open minded.
As you're Pinay, the easiest thing to say is that It's a bit like Angeles City but with the addition of a polluted beach.

If you really want a beach then it's probably better for you to head west to ChaAm or HuaHin, which have decent beaches and are much less adult male orientated.

Bangkok is for most a jumping off point for Thailand holidays, is packed with everything from excitement and chaos, to freedom, beauty, and adventure. Through the hustle and bustle, gigantic skyscrapers, grand palaces and temples, and a world-renowned floating market, Bangkok continues to attract millions of travellers from around the world.

I'm sure I've seen that before.
Is it 'cut and paste' from somewhere else?

Yep it's from here, a blog which contains a copyright notice. I've flagged the post as "duplicate".

I'm planning trips across Asia...I started in Malaysia last month. It was tiring but worth it because I tasted their cuisine and climbed the highest peak.
next is Thailand, perhaps in December. Anyone who can share some info about Bangkok?

Bangladesh is the perfect tourist attraction for you. the longest secure sea beach is cox bazar is the best places for a holiday destination.

How was that? Did you do the 2D1N trek? Did you have to have a guide or could you do it independently? How were your legs when you finished?

It's generally a very safe country (provided you use common sense, so don't get drunk and walk down dark alleys!).
Travel with as little luggage as possible, as it can be 'difficult' when you need the toilet and you're solo.

Of course I have commons sense.
Seriously, I never drank when traveling unless I have good company.
I'm planning to bring only a large bag, no suitcase coz I always ended up shopping in the past.
So, I'll bring a few clothes and shop for new ones.
I sooo love rummaging in the malls!

Thank you for the tip but I couldn't take more adventure this time.
My reason in choosing Bangkok is to shop and go sight-seeing on daytime.
I plan not to go far from my hotel since I'm traveling alone.

Nope, just 1 day...
My cousin was our guide. She lives in Sabah.
I always complain about my legs but worth it.
