Some bug in the thread list?

Travel Forums System Talk Some bug in the thread list?

I noticed something odd..i answered this thread "Rovaniemi igloo" and got answered etc. but when the last notification came via e-mail that someone has writed on that thread and i came here to read it, what was odd was that the thread was still "same place" on the list and the number of posts on that thread has not increased like it should. I clicked the thread anyway and there was one new post like the e-mail notificated me. This has not change in one day and its just this one thread that i have know of.
No big deal in itself but has anyone else noticed something similar?

If you look at the threads above your igloo post you'll see that they've all had replies since you last posted on that thread.

The other threads which state the last post as '1d' had their last post after you made yours.

That's why your igloo thread is still in the same place. Unless someone else posts a reply on that thread it will move down the list as new questions are asked and posts added to older threads. :-)

That might be true, i didnt notice that!
But it does not explain the amount of posts..

Oh, yes of course the threads above "my post" has replies because i waited one day before i posted this post!

That could simply be your browser, especially if you have the site in your bookmarks/favourites. Many browsers show you the page version you last looked at rather than the most recent version. It's only when you click somewhere on the page that it refreshes,

Good suggestion but its not it becouse i always refresh the site

So, the thread in question has 5 posts in it. That means the original post that started the thread, and four replies. This number 4 is what is shown on the forum index. You can easily confirm this goes for all threads by scanning over the forum index and seeing the number "0" listed for some threads.

It used to be clearer in previous incarnations of the forum, when the word "Replies" was written out. Nowadays we only have the arrow icon to indicate what that number means, and yeah, I can see why that's confusing... :)
