Well, it's definitely better, though still far too many places for my taste :)

KL is pretty missable imo. It's definitely not the best thing in Malaysia so unless your flight is going through there anyway, I wouldn't go out of my way for it.

As for prices, just do a check and see if you can get anything you like at that budget. Personal preferences differ a lot.

It still looks like an endurance event rather than a holiday IMO ...

Check the flights between the places you want to see.
Like would you go from Bali to Boracay, or Palawan, and then from Palawan to Boracay.
How long would each flight take (4 hours or 10 hours including a 4 hour stop at Manila Airport?).

The only place I noticed on your list that needs a visa is Vietnam (but check all of them as I could have missed one).
IIRC it only took 3 or 4 days to get my Vietnam Visa, but that was in 2010, it wasn't this close to Xmas and I lived close to their London Embassy then.

Suggest you visit the Philippines another time. While Palawan definitely is worth visiting, Boracay is in transition:

You'll likely need to show proof of onward travel when you enter the Philippines. This was one of the few countries that I had to (I flew from Hong Kong to Manila, to Puerto Princessa, back to Manila and back to Hong Kong).
