Good evening my friends.

I am planning my first trip with RV in Dolomites for 8 nights. We have booked our Rv.

We are organizing our first road trip with Rv, I would appreciate if you could share tips, secrets and things I should care about RV renting ??

Also it’s the first time we are travelling in a place like Dolomites. We will have the opportunity to do hikings, walks, Kayaking and general outdoors adventurous sports Taking into consideration all these, I am sure that we will have to bring the appropriate equipment and clothing. Any advice on this would be grateful.

Finally, As an enthusiastic landscape and nature photographer, I hope I will have the opportunity to take nice lifetime shots. Which spots do you believe I can’t miss ?

I have some in my mind

The Sella Group

Lago di Braies

Lagon Di Sorapis

Lake Misurina.

Lago di Dobbiaco

Lake Antholz

Lake carezza-Karesee

The Cime Di Lavaredo

Secada Puez Odle

I don’t know if we have the time to see all these….

Moreover. I have in mind one day photography workshop. Is there any acclaimed photographer ?

Any further information or advice about the trip would be thankful…

Thx a lot for your patience..:):)

Hi! I am not sure if my reply will help you a lot...but i will give it a go :)

In Dolomites the roads are narrow and serpentine so good driver is a must! Also make sure that you rent a car in trustworthy place which take care of the insurances! And take photos of the car before you drive out of the car rental place and also after to make sure you dont get hoaxed :)

In Dolomites i have visited in Lake Garda and Madonna di Cambiglio which neither where in you itinerary but are still worth considering! In Garda you can do water sports and in Madonna there is nice hiking trails! :)

About clothing..that really depends on the time of the year you are going! I were there in October, when the mornings and evenings where little chilly but in the days you can get by in a t-shirt. One day was raining so i had also water proof jacket and trousers :)

Have a really nice trip! :)
