Hi guys

One of my friends need help. Is there anyone who successfully waived a permanent ineligiblity for US Visa due to misrepresentation.

Back in 2005, my friend was convicted for a false representation of financial statement while applied for a F1 visa and eventually banned permanently. He was misguided by an over enthusiastic one who provided the false bank statement for him and both were unaware of the consequences. By ruining the future of higher studies in USA he became seriously frustrated only left to curse himself. Can a waiver be granted for him after passing a long period of time? Eventually he didn’t keep any record regarding this out of despair. What he can do now to get rid of such a disgrace for the rest of his life? Please, help anyone out there.

It is possible for waivers of ineligibility to recommended and potentially granted but the only way for your friend to find out is to re-apply for a visa.

Making a fraudulent application, as your friend did, is regarded very seriously. No-one here or anywhere else can tell you the chances of your friend being recommended to apply for a waiver of ineligibility nor the chances of that waiver being granted.
