My boyfriend and I are planning to visit Switzerland this summer (right in the middle of August... yikes I know). We intend to stay there for a week, but the worst part is, we have a budget. And it's not a really high budget.

So far we've seen places near Interlaken. They are not in the center but most of them have train/bus station nearby which allow us to go pretty much everywhere right? We also don't mind walking, so I guess that's a point for us. We would love if you could share the best sightseeing places because we also love photography.

We are hoping you guys could help us, because we are aware of the high life cost and we would like to spend the money we have as best as we can. I know that there is a lot of information everywhere, but the advices from the locals and/or recent visitors are priceless. Any help would be amazing!

We've heard about passes provided by accommodation that let you use public transportation for free. How can we get one of these? Can they be used everywhere in the country? And can I ask our host to get two for us?

Adittional, if anyone can give us any advice on the Swiss travel pass or interrail one country pass that would be really appreciated!

Thank you a lot in advance!

I'm glad you know about the high prices already, otherwise I'd recommend going elsewhere.
Have fun!
