Quoting Borisborough

Two first-time posters - one looking for suggestions in Asia and one providing recommendations in Vietnam after previous Vietnam spam a couple of hours ago. It's all looking decidedly fishy!

Hahaha reminds me of two particular members in the former TravBuddy site who were eager to promote Vietnam and consistently answering the forum queries of other members. They thought most people would buy their scheme but a few of my friends found out. Unfortunately as the site closed, we didn't get to expose them.

These people have so much time on their hands to spam forums. Unfortunately when a legitimate member answers it means they already have one lead for their marketing stuff.

In any case, I also take note of people who are interested to help. Thanks Boris for pointing potential issues this early.

For me, I would really help out those posters who 1) fill out their profile properly, 2) ask questions after they've read through previous threads and 3) craft a well designed question with specifics. If people ask general questions, they will get general answers. If people ask more specifics, then they will get specifics.

Finally - I just recently came back from Nepal and I find it a beautiful country - full of geographic wonders, albeit Kathmandu is a bit dusty, depending on the time of year. However I think it is for more experienced travelers as it's not that easy to get there on a budget, but once there, the cost of living is fairly cheap compared to most ... except if you've booked the expensive treks and hikes on tours.

Well, Asia is a big continent, it depend on your travel styles so you could choose which country to go. i think this is a general question, not a question for whom want to go to Asia. If you want to go to Asia, you know which country is best for you. Dont go to where you dont know about it. Because you can break the law, you dont know where to go, you dont know if you can enjoy cuisine in that country or not...

So, if you really want to go to Asia, choose an small region, like South East Asia, like East Asia, West, Central ... or name some country you like to go. Then member here can suggest you and tell you which is good, which you should not in those country.

And of course, you dont tell us budget or where you are, so it so hard to suggest.

The first choice is always Thailand for me. It's cheap, easy to go and has a lot of exciting places to visit. That's why I have visited Thailand for 3 times
The second choice is my country Vietnam, beautiful but the tourism still not develope much honestly :( If you to my country, I recommend Hanoi and Ninh Binh nearby
Some other countries I like are Singapore, Korea and Taiwan. Hope can visit Korea this year!
