Spain in August. Don't.

Too hot. Too many people everywhere.

Accommodation, flights and transport full up and expensive.

Quite awhile ago, I was in Spain in July - Madrid, Valencia, Granda, Toledo. It was really quite cool except for the train from Valencia to Granada. The only real problem I had was getting out of Spain to France on August 1st. So you can look at the past weather - last summer it was VERY hot in most of Europe - but you can't absolutely predict what it will be in the future.

So go ahead and go, but be prepared with a plan B if it looks like it will be too hot.
