Has anybody been to Pärnu, estonia? I visited Tallinn last year and loved it and would like to visit somewhere else in Estonia. I’m hoping it has a nice nightlife scene as well as the nice beaches. Can anyone give any experiences?
Thanks

I've stopped in Parnu just for few minutes on the bus journey from Tallinn to Riga. My experience is the bus station only. Sorry...
My idea of nightlife is generally a bit more 'meal and drinks afterwards' rather than clubs, so I may not be your best guide, but I have been to Parnu. It's very much the summer resort for Estonians, so it does have places to go out in season, and of course there are lots of beach activities.
Personally, we preferred Tartu, which is the second biggest city in Estonia and is a university town, so you'd probably find more nightlife, but obviously no beaches.
I am literally drinking a beer in Parnu right now. If you are planning to come any time soon, you will find a very quiet experience. This is a very quiet city. I have been told, in the summer time, this place is a pretty happening beach town. I'll ask around and get back to you
Haha how ironic. But that would be great getting info from locals. Thank you!
Ok. So there are bars and discos that are pretty hip in Parnu. They tend to open later in the eve, like ten. I just walked the beach this morning and it's huge. The water is Very shallow for quite a ways. There were still ice flows going by when I was there. The pictures I've seen show that the beach is very popular in the summer. I've been told it's Estonia's beach resort of choice. I'm sad I didn't get to see what Soccer Billiards, a beach thing, looked like in practice. If you come and go into the Veerev Olu bar and sit at its smallest table, you'll be sitting where I typed this.
Pärnu is Estonia's summer capital, that's true, but in terms of nightlife it's still way behind the bigger cities of Tallinn and Tartu. It's certainly nice for some beach experience and there will be more nightlife in summer, but if you really want to party hard you should go to Tallinn. Tartu is a vibrant student city (and a lovely one, too), but as the university is closed over the summer, there are not so many student events. I'm not sure if Tartu's nightclub "Club Tallinn" still exists, but it would always close over the summer and move to Pärnu…
I was just in Tallinn. Club Tallinn does, indeed, still exist.
Has it moved to Tallinn now? Or are you talking about a different Club Tallinn?
I guess I am(talking about a different one). While in Tallinn I saw a Club Tallinn. I didn't notice the obvious mention of Tartu.
Because I'm dumb.
