Welcome to Travellerspoint.

In November there will be millions of tourists in Thailand.

You will not have much of a problem meeting people if you need to. You can still have a nice time by yourself if necessary. It is easy to sign up for shared tours in Bangkok and most major cities popular with tourists. (Local travel agencies and some hotels have tours you can sign up for.)

Fill out your profile. There may be someone from your area of the world who will be in Thailand at the same time.

From Europe or N. America many flights first land at Bangkok. Bangkok is a big city, some backpacker types choose Khao San Road area for their lodging. Pull up a map of Thailand so you have an idea of where various places are located. Besides Bangkok, Chiang Mai is a popular place to visit. If you are in school or young Koh Phangan is popular.

Research visa requirements for your particular country, read up on changing money and for any country you visit always look up scams that you might come across.

Good luck.

As Karazyal says, there will be plenty of travellers/backpackers there in November.
Not as busy as December and January but still a fair few.
There will be lots of people in most hostels and you will meet many of them.

There are quite a few posts on here with good information, so rather than repeating the same again and again, have a look through the last 2/3 months asia posts to read them. Any specific questions, please ask and there's a fair chance of an answer.

Some brief details in your profile really does help, as it enables people from your part of the world to respond with info they found especially useful.
