Alex, I'm still working on the transfer of blogs from my old website to Travellerspoint but, if you want to read my impressions of Haridwar, Rishikesh and Devprayag (plus other places, including Varanasi for example), you'll find them at: https://www.travelblog.org/Bloggers/Keep-Smiling/Trips/32620

Thank you guys! I love itttt, India is amazing indeed :)

Yes it really is an absolutely fascinating country and quite different in culture area to area, but that's not so surprising due to the size of the country.

Namaste Alex.

I'm so pleased to see your planned itinerary. Are you really going up to the Gangotri? If so, I'm envious - I've only been as far as Devprayag, so far. However, Gangotri is on the list for after my 2022 visit to Haridwar for the Kumbh Mela!

Looking forward to reading your first blog now. Don't keep us waiting too long.

Enjoy yourself in my favourite country - and, of course, keep smiling!

Namaste ☺️

Surely most fascinating country, culture, food, landscapes, people, the vibes you get just by being here in the midst of it all. I’m amazed every day of how welcome I am feeling here, Rishikesh it’s such a warm hearted place, despite all cultural differences I have met beautiful people all along and learned so much about what caring for community means. Yes I’m definitely going up to Gangotri next week for a couple of days, but Gaumukh will leave it for next time when my trekking abilities will improve. Devaprayag is on my list also.
Oh that shall be an unforgettable experience for Kumbh Mela, I might join as surely want to return to this beautiful chaos! :D

Namaste again Alex.
I'm so pleased that you are enjoying my favourite country so much. How about a blog and some photos to remind me of what I'm missing right now?!
