Hello, I need to plan a trip for me and 5 more friends for a week in USA. Can someone share me, how they did your last planning for a group of people so that I get the idea of how it’s done?

The USA is a big place.
Some idea of where you're coming from (in your profile?), when you're travelling, where you're entering the country and what interests you (and the rest of your party) would make it possible to help.
Without that info it's pretty impossible.

Yet another "plan me a trip for me+5". Uncanny.

If you are traveling with a group, it's nice to get information from everyone in the group. First, you only have a week and the USA is a very large country so you need to choose one area you all want to visit. Get your group together (in person or online) and see what they want to visit. Everyone probably has a must-see on their list so find out what they are. You will probably end up with 5 different ideas so have everyone look at them and decide which one (or maybe two) things you all would be happy seeing.

You haven't filled out your Profile Page here yet so I have no idea where you are starting. If you are coming from Europe, you may want to visit the northeast USA, perhaps New York City or Boston or a few days in each. You could also visit Washington D.C. (our capitol) and perhaps a day in Baltimore or Philadelphia. If you're coming from Asia, you might prefer the west coast with a visit to Los Angeles or San Francisco. If you prefer nature, that could include the Grand Canyon or Yosemite.

If you're from South America, it would be easy to visit Florida, Texas, Arizona, New Mexico or California and there are a lot of sights in all of them.

Once your group has decided where they want to go, the rest is easy. You book your flights, book your accommodations and if you want them, book any tours you might want to take. You will have to decide on transportation after arrival and that could be combination of plane, train and rental car or perhaps organized local tours.

That should get you started. Feel free to come back with more questions. It would help if you would fill out your Profile Page.

There's a lovely thread from a few days ago, possibly started by a colleague of yours, asking exactly the same question. I've linked it above so that you can see how that developed.

The same question was also posted on a few other travel forums (LP Thorntree, TA, etc.).

This individual (or individuals) under X number of member names and X number of posts for X number of countries, has been tossed off multiple travel forums over the past week or so. Don't waste your time.
