Good afternoon.
I had booked flight from Venice to Barcelona a few months ago and a week ago my documents were stolen. Now am wondering if I have to inform Ryanair about the change of my ID card number or they do not need the number when booking the flight. I tried to call Ryanair, but “surprisingly” they didn’t answer. Thank you for your reply.

Have a wonderful day, Ajda

Ryanair's website is vague on the matter!

I did find one place where they say "New Travel Document. If you have new travel document details on your return flight, you will need to contact our reservations department and a staff member will make the adjustments to your booking."

So it does sound like you need to speak to them.

The passport/ ID number is required at the time of check-in only (not booking). Once your boarding card is produced the passport/ID number is shown and this needs to match your passport/ID number at the gate when boarding the plane.

If you ckecked-in already and your ID number changed since: you need to make necessary amendment with the airline.
If you did not check in yet: no need to worry and just enter correct details of the new ID at the time of check-in.

In relation to FR only: I'm sure you have an account created. You would need to log in and under your details amend your ID details to the new ID (expiration date, ID number).
