Hey everyone,

Im looking at booking a holiday in September. Somewhere sunny, hot and no rain!

I'll be flying from England.

Was thinking about Central America, Mexico etc but isnt that a bit damp at that time of year? Also heard Cape Verde was a possibility.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Cheers!

Mexico is simply too vast to say the amount of precipitation in one corner of the country will be similar in another corner of the country in September or any other time of year - it just depends on where you are.

Quintana Roo? Yes, you'll see rain in September. Monterrey, Chihuahua and the region of Mexico known as The Bajio? Likely quite dry. However, these dry regions see the most of their scant precipitation in September - it just doesn't add up to much when it does rain then.

Central America? Likely very rainy in September and October, although micro-climates exist in the western highlands of Guatemala and sothwestern Honduras for example, and it can be quite dry in these micro-climate regions in September.

What do you want from a holiday?
Beach, adventure, organised activities, Independent exploration/travel, historical sites, food & drink, night clubs, wilderness, nature, etc etc.

Perhaps you can tell us more about what you look for in a holiday - relaxing on a beach or poolside? Wildlife? Culture and historical attractions? Nightlife?

Maybe Greece islands?

September is the most happening month in Europe which is the time for many unique festivals and events like Regata Storica in Venice, Festes de la Merce in Barcelona and many more. If you are looking for Beach locations then you can try Spain's Canary Islands which are less crowded at this time of the year and the weather is generally good. Choose any destination according to your preferences and make your vacation memorable.
Happy travelling.
