I was planning to visit Kerala India, in August month last week. But I read news about a flood in Kerala. Should I go there or change the plan?

Kerala is a beautifull place. Travel to Kerala with your family and make your holidays a better place.

Egypt Tours, if you're going to choose a commercial name on a site where commercial posts are banned you had better make sure your posts have some real content rather than the above. This site is for travellers to help other travellers. If you don't have an answer to the original poster's question, why post?

aditi, despite your 'Maiden name' being what sounds like a travel agent I'll respond.

Kerala is a great place but August isn't a good time to visit.
I'd recommend you wait until at least November, preferably late November and I'd also suggest that a week is too short for the travel involved from the USA to Kerala. If you haven't visited Kerala previously then I can tell you that even 2 weeks is too short to really see the state properly.

As the Facebook link on the profile is to a travel agent based in Delhi, I think the USA bit may be fake.

At the moment situation is not that good and some of the districts in Kerala are on red alert. Check the status of the city you wish to visit or postpone your visit to September / October.
Regards

@ Andrew Mack @AndyF
I am going with my family. We would stay in india for around 2 months. And we will stay at my parents' cousin house for some time of period in Delhi. After that, we will visit Kerala. Also, I added Indian visit facebook because you guys could give me some info about it. Because we booked our tours in Kerala through this site. It(Indian visit) told us that everything would be fine till last week of August.

thanks, Andrew mack, namsteindia, and Andyf for our supporting reply.

Putting Indian Visit Pvt Ltd as your name and their facebook page in your profile, you are saying you are Indian Visit Pvt Ltd.
