Heey, I am going to Berlin on my own and want to stay in a party hostel to meet new people and have a good time.
I found the circus hostel and Plus Berlin Hostel. Thinking about these two. I found a few others here -snip-, but I cant decide. Are you familiar with these or maybe you know some other good option?
Thanks in advance!

I haven't stayed at Circus Hostel but have stayed at several places in the area. I love Rosenthaller Platz and one of my favorite restaurants is there! Rosenthaller Grille and Schelmmerbuffet. It is right across the street from Circus Hostel.

We talked to people staying at Circus Hostel and they liked it. As for the area, it is my favorite place to stay in Berlin. We stayed in a hotel however. There are so many things to do and see in the area. I have a link to my blog post in Berlin. It's a fantastic city. https://www.adventure31.com/defiant2016/previous/3

Dear unknown traveler!
Why use this website only for asking such questions?
It is so easy: make your own search on the Internet. The travel websites promote this or that hostel and provide the guests' feedback.
Besides, it is always more pleasant for members of this website to see a person behind each question, and not a blank page.
Please create your profile and become a real members of TP.
Best of luck!

In this particular case, the original poster was almost certainly not a genuine traveller, but someone who wanted to promote a specific website or property. And that gives me the opportunity to address an attitude here which I think goes counter to the purpose of this forum.

Unlike the original poster here, there are other genuine travellers posting questions which you or I could answer for ourselves by searching the internet. And it's explicitly okay for such travellers to ask such question on this forum. It's in fact the main point of the travellerspoint forums. Every day, there's thousands of people who start (thinking about) travelling independently for the first time in their lives, and who have no idea about any of the many things which are obvious to experienced travellers. They don't know where to find reviews, nor how to evaluate those reviews for trustworthiness. They don't know what factors to pay attention to, and they don't know what their own priorities will be. They don't know that their questions have been asked thousands of times before, and that if only they knew to search for them, they could find the answers on their own. Friendly and experienced travellers who're willing to take a few minutes to give some pointers can make a huge difference to the first travel experiences for such people. Yes, it would be helpful if such posters would give all the information upfront that'll help us help them, such as their interests and travel style. But of course such first time travellers don't have the first idea about what we'd need to know. And that's okay. We can help them start to think about what it is that they want, and answer in generic terms, based on our own preferences.

Encouraging people to fill out their profile can be helpful, but please keep it at the level of a friendly suggestion, and not stronger than that, as it's very much not required to participate here. We'd rather see people getting useful answers, and remembering that, and returning later to share their own experiences and becoming fully participating members at that point. :)

All right, Sander, I see your point. Live and see.
