Oh dear. Yes, reading back it was pretty ambiguous how I wrote that.. I indeed meant those are the ones that I already have some content for. I'll add into that original post any that people have put their hand up for too, to save overlaps.

What the next ones to be done are kind of depends on what people are able to do. Obviously the bigger and more popular the destination the better. But smaller / mid-sized places are just as worth doing as there is generally less to compete with for those.

The Melbourne page is my best example of the kind of content needed. Note though, you don't need to recommend specific hotels. I can set it up so that it will automatically pull in hotels from a certain area / suburb. To do this, I create the boundary lines of the suburb and then it pulls whatever the most popular hotels are from that area. This is how the hotels are picked that are showing on the Melbourne page.

In terms of how to submit, you can either just send it to me via PM or via email. Happy to share my email address with any of you - just let me know and I'll send it your way.

Are you looking for only major cities because I could do some write ups for a couple of French Polynesian Islands and maybe some cities in the Baltics. Would that be of any use?

I've done Key West, but I think I will wait on Miami and Charleston. It is possible that I can gear myself up to do New Orleans, but I would like to do first

US Virgin Islands
Bahamas
Barbados
Bermuda
Cozumel

Smaller cities / places are great too. Very happy to get those in there. :)

I note that on the Melbourne page, you have the hotels slotted into the places that you are talking about. Can I do that for the guides that I write? For instance there are places to stay in Fells Point in Baltimore - how could I get those places added to that section.

I just did Barbados, and I notice that there are only two locations listed - Bridgetown which is a city in St Michaels Parish, and Christ Church which is the Parish where the airport is located. All the accommodations come up under both locations, and most of the ones listed are neither in Bridgetown nor in Christ Church.

Yes it can be done. It takes a bit more effort on my part and a slightly different style of writing.

As far as the writing goes - try to create a separate paragraph for each neighbourhood / area.

Then when I receive the content, I will create an entry in the database for that neighbourhood and while doing that I actually map out the boundaries of the area. Any accommodation that falls within those bounds should show up in there.

Not sure on this one - I’ll have to dig deeper into it to find out why that might be the case!

This is a very common thing to happen when people only know a few places - very often people would write about places in Louisiana as if they were all in New Orleans when they were not. Or write about everything in the Bahamas being in Nassau when they were on one of the Out Islands.

I sent you a redone Barbados list with some appropriate hotels after each section. If you want the hotels in a different format (like a URL) I can do that too.
