Hi i'm planing to travel to Barcelona and Valencia Spain in April 2020. This will be my first time going there and i'll be traveling with my kids wife my mom and my mother in law. Obviously i want to try to keep the cost down. any ideas or tips to where i can get plane tickets for the least expensive? Also any ideas where i should go to visit during my stay in Barcelona and Valencia and what place to go eat at?

Hi DaChef… The sunny weather in April offers good times in Spain. You need not go anywhere for cheaper flight tickets. Just sit before a computer and browse the net. There are many websites and travel agencies that offer cheaper air tickets to Spain. The only thing you have to do is just book in advance to enjoy cheaper prices. Think about Gaudia and Sagrada Familia guided tours in Barcelona with your family and visit the old town in Valencia. Furthermore, do not miss the Tuk Tuk and Hop On Hop Off tours in Valencia. Well…Where to eat depends on several factors and your interests. My suggestion is to go to food tours to taste a wide variety of dishes.

I check Skyscanner and Kayak.com for ticket prices. When I find my flight, I go directly to the airline and book with them. That way if something goes wrong, you can contact the airline and they can help you.

Have a great trip.

For ideas on what do in Barcelona and Valencia with kids, feel free to check out my blog posts. They are both great cities for kids.

Hi... Explore Gothic Quarter, El Born, historic Santa Caterina Market in Barcelona and Valencia. There are delicious bakeries, tapas bars, wine bars, as well as restaurants in El Born. You can choose any of them as per your choice and budget. Otherwise, you can also join food tours. Guided tours are also a good option to explore places.
