Nepal is one of the safest travel destinations among the three above mentioned countries.
If you are keen to trek individually or solely, then you need month-long plans, hire the best trekking gears, and choose the best trekking season.
It is better to contact the authorized trekking company and request them to arrange a guide for you. Also, they can find a female trekking partner for you.

These are general recommendations for travelers everywhere, with the exception of carrying pepper spray. While it apparently is legal to carry pepper spray in India, it is illegal to carry or use it certain countries. Also, it cannot be brought into aircraft cabins on your body or in hand baggage, even on domestic flights in India.

India is one of my favorite countries and I have not had problems traveling anywhere. People are friendly and hospitable. Rather than pepper spray I would recommend carrying hand sanitizer and using it liberally. Better yet, wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water, especially before and after meals as Indians usually do. This is important now more than ever throughout the globe.
