Im planning a trip to Turkey using a local agent. The plan us to only hire the driver with a suggested itinerary.

1. Any contacts for good and reliable agents?
2. Suggestions of non touristy interesting places, food to try, things to do....

Just a heads-up with my Moderator hat on that any further replies by companies promoting themselves will be deleted due to our rules on spam.

Suggestions from travellers with a track record here who can recommend an agent are fine.

The suggestion of non-touristy fascinating places in Turkey is Rumeli Hisari, a historic fort, Ortakoy Cami and Pera Museum. Indeed, Turkish food is so delicious, so discover small streets with restaurants, cafes, and bars in Istanbul. Eat fish sandwich near the Galata Bridge. Also, visit the Sakip Sabanci museum near Emirgan, Sultanahmet, Topkapi Palace, and Dolmabahce Palace are also good touristic places in Turkey.

I haave been to Turkey a few times.

Lots to see and the tourist indfustry there seems to have got its act together and lots of reasonably priced tours to most places.

If you go in summer, try to get a room with air conditioning. It can get HOT, even at night.
