Since your profile states that you live in Changsha, China, Emily, this looks like a very strange way to start a thread.

Hi, Borisborough!
As you know, I live in Changsha, China. In fact, I'm a university student in Changsha, major in English.I wanna make friends with English-speaking natives.Since I have plans to travel around China, being an English tour guide is a good choice for me. Therefore I start a thread about this topic to get some useful information from here ,or maybe I can also offer some help.
Thanks a lot.
I think you should explore Shangai, I have been to China and the most beautiful part of China was Shangai!

Do you mean Shanghai?
Right?
Yeah Shanghai, that is what I meant
I have been to many places in China and I can confidently say that, for me, Shanghai was not the most beautiful part of China. There are many beautiful places in China as there are elsewhere in the world. That's what keeps me and others traveling.
Unfortunately, Shanghai has topped my list as one of the dullest of my travels. Beijing is definitely at the top. I'm just a little miffed that they are always increasing the ticket prices to the attractions
The areas I'm gunning for in China next year would be Yunan, Qinghai and Xinjiang.

You can travel to China in the off-season, and the tickers will be cheaper for you.
Besides, you can take some instant food with you since there're many expensive restaurants that make a profit from tourism around the tourist spots.Or you can ask others' recommendation that you think it's useful and helpful.
It seems that you have to make detailed plans for your travel in China。
You can freely ask me any questions since I live in China now and also love travelling.
Hope it's helpful.

So would you mind sharing your opinion about the most beautiful place in China?
