So, what you doing for the Christmas/Jewish/New Year's holiday's? Home or away?

Me, home, and doing as little as possible. I ain't traveling more than 2 miles from home when possible. Ironic, I love being a tourist and traveling and yet, I live in a tourist driven resort town and can't stand my town during the busiest 2 weeks of the year. Make great money thou, got to love that.

We love travelling and we travel every year about 100 to 120 days abroad. But for sure not during the holidays. These time we leave to to the families which don't have other choices. And for us it is better outside the holidays, because it is cheaper and quieter.

We try to avoid shopping and traveling during holidays. Too many people . . .

Away. It got so bad in Singapore that the Government had to ask people to consider staying home during our National Day.

We were planning a little road trip but everthing is on fire at the moment so we decided probably better to stay home. Maybe next year;).

I have just had a hip replacement - went to my daughter's on Thanksgiving (drove up and back) but Christmas we are just quietly by ourselves at home.

If we were going to travel we would leave well beforehand (because we are retired, we don't have to stick to a work or school schedule), and come back well after. Last year we were on a cruise from the 21st of December to the 8th of January
