I have reservations to the Philippines and will be leaving in about 4 weeks. With the problems they're having there with Taal volcano erupting, flight cancellations, travel and hotel disruptions, should I still plan on going or cancel til another date? I will be staying in Manila and also be taking 3 flights in and out of Manila while I'm there and worried it might interfere with my travel plans. I could take a 50/50 chance of going or have peace of mind and go at a later date, this volcano erupting could go on for weeks, any advice would be appreciated...

Manila's airport currently is open and flights are arriving and departing as scheduled, according to FlightAware and FlightRadar24. There is a 17 kilometer exclusion zone round the Taal volcano; metropolitan Manila is 60 kilometers away and not in the exclusion zone. There is no way to predict what definitely will happen, or when. See this link:

Travelers are always wise to have contingency plans should problems arise.
