Anyone changing their near future travel plans for the moment do to the insanity of this Coronavirus, or "COVID-19"? I'm not, then again, I'm not really going anywhere for the moment do to an illness in the family. All though, some people in my town, which is tourism based economy, are a little nervous about it coming here locally.

What about you?

I've already booked my Easyjet flight from Glasgow to Spain for the month of June, but I've just heard a radio newsflash today that both British Airways and Easyjet are cancelling some of their European flights, so if they cancel mine I will not be enjoying my annual Morocco walkabout.

From what I've heard the Corona virus is only like a dose of 'flu for most healthy people ( I qualify and have received the annual vaccination) it's the unfortunates who have pre-existing health issues who are most at risk from this new virus, but until the picture becomes clearer my month's holiday is now on hold. At the moment I'm hoping for an email from Easyjet to update the situation.

I read on Tripadvisor Morocco forum that passengers arriving on flights and sea crossings to Morocco are handed a self-certified medical form to complete before passing through passport control, so the land borders are still open, but this could change depending on whether there is an increase in numbers of travellers falling ill.

Benny, I guess you know that the flu jab is targeted at their best guess of the strain of flu doing the rounds and will give no protection from Coronavirus.

The flu in the USA alone has killed more people than the Cornavirus has killed world wide. Much of this is hype.

The flu has a much, much lover average death rate than Coronavirus - less than .2% to about 3.4%, respectively.

But it has killed over 10,000 already this year in the US alone. Corona, not even close.

Perhaps because of the "hype" you speak of? Drastic measures are being taken to prevent the spread of Coronavirus, clearly.

How many have died in the US has NOTHING to do with world-wide death rates of flu versus Coronavirus. The facts so far indicate, based on death rates, Coronavirus is 3 times as lethal as the flu. That's a huge difference.

We know nothing about the virus, which makes it harder to fight. But people are getting well from it, it is not an immediate death sentence.

What concerns me more is the origin of the virus. It is being shown that it may have been developed in a lab, where they are coming up with biological warfare. What else have they come up with and why are they doing this? Much more concerning!!!

Correct - Coronavirus has a 96.6 % survival rate so far!
