A cat with his own moat. That's very posh.

Mimi has come a long way from being a rescue cat . . . She's our Princess.

If anyone reading this is having trouble logging in with this new setup, please do get in touch via the contact form

I have tried several times and several days in a row to log in with the security code. It didn’t work. I send a text via contact form and still waiting for an answer. Yes I have now been able to log in as at last the system accepted the security code.
we are always traveling, like moving every few days. The most we stay in one place is 2 weeks. I do understand the need for added security, especially as it looks like there are more and more spammers trying to get on the site. I guess I will have to start planning when I publish my blog.,

By the way, a big thank you to all of you moderators and others . You are doing a great job.

Hi mad4travel, apologies for not responding to the messages through the contact form yet. I'm playing catch up :(

I do recognise that the login process is a lot more cumbersome than it was, especially if you are moving around a lot.

To help ameliorate this, I've updated the "Keep me logged in" setting to now extend to a full year rather than just 2 weeks. If you check that box, you should not have trouble on new IP addresses since it already considers you to be logged in.

Providing you aren't accessing the site on a shared computer (ie.. an internet café, office computer, etc), I'd recommend checking that box.

I hope it helps.

Hi Peter,
Thanks for the answer.

I will tick the stay log in. I am using my own laptop not a public one.

When you come across my request for help just delete it As I am now log in. But there could be some issue with the security code as it just keep saying that it was invalid until today when it accepted it. I wonder if it is due to the strength and speed of the WiFi. Past few days we were in mountainous part of Mexico and now we are in very touristic Baja de California.
Time will tell.
Keep the good work :)

I had a look at the login attempts you made. There were attempts from 4 different IP addresses. 2 of those are now verified. What might have happened is that the IP address changed between the login attempt and the receiving of the verification code. Some networks update IPs a lot more than others (especially if you are tethering to a mobile phone for example). I've had a few members with this issue. Not really sure how to work around it to be honest, other than suggest trying later :(

Thanks Peter, I will keep that in mind (the changing of IP address which is probably what happened). It’s not such a big issue once one knows about it and can be work around. It’s not like I am blogging everyday. I am just relieved to know that I can still post blog and it is there for my friends and family to see where we are or have been.
