I’ve done quite a bit of travel after I got fully vaccinated in March (Daytona Beach twice, Orlando twice, Tampa, Honolulu twice, West Palm Beach, Miami Beach, Ft Lauderdale, Philadelphia, Tucson, Phoenix, Memphis, Dallas, Jacksonville twice, & Houston WHEW).

Going back to Florida tomorrow, then Los Angeles a couple of weeks later. Finishing off the year 2021 with a trip back to Daytona Beach over the holidays to see family.

I’ve been tested for Covid multiple times, always negative. I don’t drive myself crazy analyzing the COVID numbers. The key is to travel smartly & take precautions!

I would also welcome an eventual Disney TIPPLE!

I have only stayed in a Bonvoy property once since the UK lockdown started I March 2020 . Having been double jabbed, and because of my age, expecting a third, Linda and I have decided that i t is safer to travel. We are due to take out first foreign trip in October, returning to the Sheraton Fuertaventura for a week. We were there when lockdown started so, since there have only been 17 deaths on the island in the whole pandemic we thought it would be a good place to begin our travels.
At the end of November we are going to the Caribbean with 4 days at The House ( new Bonvoy All Inclusive) followed by 7 days cruising.

I miss Bob, both as a conversations and a drinking buddy. I still post on the Convoy site, however, it annoys me greatly. Bob new the Bonvoy site so well that h is advice as to how to use the system to your advantage was invaluable. The new site seems to be full of young high flyers who seem to be he'll bent on finding ways to cheat. This virus has taken a real gent.
