After AndyF posted a travel tick-list that his friend sent him, he and I have put together a long one to pass twenty minutes or so - a combined list of destinations we've both been to. It's only here for a laugh - there's no judgement if you get 0 or 570 out of 563 - and there's no obligation to do it if you don't want to.

Just one point, Yala National Park is definitely in Sri Lanka, not India as it says on the list.

Good varied choices. I scored 187. Shocked that there were so many Scottish ones I haven't been to even though I'm Scottish. I'll need to correct that next time I go home.

Can not complain. Seems that one of you guys has been to the northeastern corner of Africa...;)

Also liked that there was a certain theme with several names starting with King(s), Queens, Philip, George, Victoria etc...lol

Yes, I spent four days in Yala and did not see a single leopard! But I did see the elephants at Minneriya and Kaudulla.

8. More than I thought I would get when I started, I was half in mind to start ticking the places I would like to visit rather than the ones I actually have been in, lol.

I must confess some of those places listed are ones I know I should go to but haven't been to yet.

The football stadiums are all Boris's, and everything in South Yorkshire.

So many places, so little time!

So you are saying that you haven't been in Skegness?

Don't worry, Bob, that's not a fiasco. I have read that many keen wildlife enthusiasts often see many elephants and beautiful birds around in that park that allegedly has the world's highest concentration of leopards. However, it is not easy to spot leopards who are very elusive and tend to retreat in caves and hide on the trees... There are a lot of factors such as season, your jeep's speed, your noise, etc...
More luck next time, then.
;)

Indeed I have not been to Skegness though my husband worked there in Butlins when he was a student. He worked in the kitchen, as a waiter, controlled various fair ground ride and acted as a human break on the cable car. Plus he nearly drowned in the riptide there despite being a good swimmer.
