Quoting isadora

I have never been to Africa or the Galapagos or Madagascar to see the really cool wild animals that everyone thinks of initially. Though, I was in charge of a small wild animal facility with lions and tigers and bears (oh my).

The oddest encounter was a remora that thought Mr. Isa and I needed cleaning in the worst way. (See photo gallery) We named him Ricky and he kept trying to attach himself to one or the other of us for the whole hour we were under. He (or she) was rather good sized at that. On the same dive, we also saw a line of 10-12 nautili (yup, that's the plural for nautilus) all swimming equally apart but at the same speed - I guess they could be called a "school". That was unusual to see that many together.

Cute babies... Well, I just looked out my back door and watched the 7 3-week old kittens playing on the step. Does that count? They are really, really cute...

Mr. I here...
Failing memory will eventually happen to us all. Alas, it has struck Mrs. I on this occasion. They were squid - not nautili. But, since the photo did not work out, I can't prove it. Still, it was an astounding sight.

Mrs. I here...
Yes, he is correct. They were squid. If they had been nautili, the picture would have turned out better because of a solid shell. My apologies for being a very confused person!
