I understand how to write on the community travel wikiguide but am struggling to add a photo. What am I doing wrong?

There's a special function for the "cover photo", accessed through the bottom of each article, where you enter a search phrase and then select a photo. For small photos in the middle of an article, however, there's no such easy functionality, and instead you have to enter the "ID" of the photo. That's not the name/title of the photo as it appears on your harddisk, but the identification in the travellerspoint database.

You appear to have tried adding this photo to the Da Nang article. Instead of putting in [Photo|20200104_091608], you should have put in [Photo|5664338], where you can find that number "5664338" in the URL of the photo (which you can copy from the location bar in your browser: https://www.travellerspoint.com/photos/stream/photoID/5664338/users/irenevt/countries/Vietnam/).

(And yeah, this is inconsistent behaviour with the blogs, where there's a nice picker interface, but of course the wiki is worked on collaboratively, so you can insert any public photo on travellerspoint, not just your own, and that means that the same interface wouldn't work.)

Thank you very much for your help. I'll have another go at it later on.

Yes, thank you I understand now.

It really helps, too, if you give the images a short but meaningful title. Right now you have filenames (?) as titles, e.g. "IMG_20200104_091608", and those show up in the wiki article, which isn't very helpful.

Ok changed them.

I edited it a bit, as there were too many photos and too little text. The photos need to be in line at the right side a little ortherwise it looks a bit messy...;)

Also we try to have featured photos as much as possible in the guides, but no problem if a few others are included sometimes.

Keep up the good work!
