So, What country do you LEAST want to travel to? Have no desire, bottom of your bucket list type of place.

For some reason, Sudan is not even on my list.

Sudan is worth a visit if you're that way inclined. Khartoum/Omdurman is an interesting city and the three archeological sites including the Meroe pyramids are superb.

Having been there already, Haiti is one place I might have been able to miss although, even there, the Citidal and Palace are pretty impressive.

North Korea.

I was in some of the other great dictatorships (USSR, East Germany, Belarus, Turkmenistan, etx.) in the past and the idea of another fake and crazy Disneyland from Hell just does not appeal to me. There are some beautiful places I would like to visit like Bhutan and Peru.

(I have been to Sudan and was almost blown up by the Sudanese Army, but that is another story for another thread).

Well, in Sunny Beach (Bulgaria) I definitely won't go again :)

North Korea I have no desire to visit, I enjoyed reading about visiting there on ToonSarah s blog but if travelling myself I want to be able to for example wander in to a side street if it looks interesting

Some reason Greenland I have no desire to go either even if I do want to visit Antartica

On the top of my hat I can't think others that I wouldn't like to go
Though war zones are not on my list...

Wow, perhaps I should be worried. I'm visiting eastern Greenland for two weeks in August 2021.

I want to visit as many countries and places in the world as I can; and if the right opportunity comes along I'll grab it. There's no bottom of the barrel.

I'm going to eastern Greenland because it's one of the remotest places on Earth. There are no roads between settlements such as Ittoqqortoormiit. I'll be there (and other places in Greenland) because I got a great travel deal; and the timing was right. Besides, I'm attracted to remote places.

People often tell me places to avoid. I figure it's better to see for myself.

People have so different habbits and preferences so my cup of tea might not be for some :) I am not too outdoorsy, I like to walk in nature and see it but I prefer running water or good toilet at least to be comfortable And I am an chilly cat so there is that, thats why I am not too keen on Greenland even if the nature probably would be spectacular

I have no desire to travel anyplace in the Middle or Far East (for entirely different reasons). We love western Europe and enjoy exploring there. I like the scenery, the food, the architecture, the art . . . so we keep going back. I love reading about other folk's trips to Asia but look at the food and architecture and am happy to give it a pass. I'm happy that other people enjoy it but it's not my cup of tea.

Someone above mentioned Haiti. I loved Haiti and returned many times. Haven't been back since the earthquake and I know it has changed dramatically.

I'm with you there, berner! There are some great photos on TP from all over the world and I want to see every single one of these sights for myself. I won't rule anywhere as 'out' but, once I've been there, I might not have a desire to go back again.

I often return to places I like, so that's why my country count isn't as much as I want it to be. India is among my favorites; I've been back several times including four weeks earlier this year. If India reopens to visitors later this year I might go back. I often travel with a friend who says she has no desire to go back to places she's already visited. So she isn't joining me to Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland.

I don't think I would say there is anywhere I have no desire to go. There are places I am in no hurry to get to and would not make a special effort to visit but if the opportunity is right I would visit. France is a country I am in no hurry to revisit, Fiji despite being a popular destination with my fellow country people I don't have strong desires to visit. Before COVID19 struck there was good opportunity to visit Greece next year and if it is still on the table post pandemic I will probably take it but I wouldn't be particularly upset to miss visiting Greece.
