Having had 2 cruises cancelled this year I have now given up until next year. Cruise booked in March next year from Sydney to Singapore via the Great Barrier reef and Papua New Guinea. Took a chance on flights with Singapore Airlines as soon as they were bookable and so far they have gone up by over £200 in 2 weeks!

I have planned my family trip to El Nido & Palawan earlier. And also we have booked our flight tickets & hotels for accommodation at Agoda online platform. But due to this Covid-19 lockdown, we have canceled all our plans. Even we have canceled our local day outing. Weare eagerly waiting for our next trip.

Mostly our next trip to the Philippines will be in 2021. I hope everything will settle down as soon as possible.:)

Yeah, I'm living in Manila, I should have mentioned it as El Nido & Palawan, Philippines.

I might do some road trips locally this year. But I do not see flights and foreign destinations in my planes this year or even next year maybe. It's hard to really guess what will happen right now. I just had an unexpected road trip last week to drive with my daughter for a job interview. She had a ten hour drive from Baltimore Maryland to New Hampshire. And of course being Dad I was concerned about her traveling that distance alone. So I had my first and only trip this year. She did get the job and will be living in New Hampshire for the next three to four months so I will most likely be traveling there to visit. It's not exactly the kind of travel I plan for my year. But for now that will be my limit.

I'm leaving tomorrow for Arkansas, my 49th state (only North Dakota remains). This will be my first trip since arriving home in March after four weeks in India.

'Emmerdale' was originally filmed in Arncliffe in Littondale then moved to Esholt, near Shipley. They use/used Otley (a very nice little market town) as 'Hotton'.

Nowadays they mostly shoot in a purpose-built 'village' in the Harewood Estate. Fingers crossed, they'll re-start tours around that set and re-open the Emmerdale Studio Experience once things get back to normal/normalish.

PS I've never, ever watched 'Emmerdale'. I just know lots of weird stuff........ ;-)

Thank you for the link!! :) The tour would be awesome! :)

But how have you never watched Emmerdale????

This makes me anxious I've heard a lot about that but I haven't watched it either
