Hello!
I'm looking forward to my next holiday and I' d like to ask for advice from you, the best travellers!

This winter we went to Asia. Our journey took twenty days. The first country we visited was Thailand. We lived on the Samit. It is a small island. This place is quiet with a wonderful ocean. There we just wanted to relax. On the Samit we spent 5 days. After that we traveled to Myanmar. Mynmar is a marvelous country. Firstly, I have noticed as clean this place is. Secondly, I’ve never seen so much gold. All pagods are covered with gold. But most of all I liked the Inle lake and Bagan city. They were amazing with very beautiful nature. The mountains and this beautiful lake can inspire everyone. The best thing about it was the silence. And Bagan took my heart. Bagan has many temples and though they are not covered with gold, their view is astonishing. All the beauty of Bagan you can see on the sunrise when you’re up on a balloon. Looking down on the fields and listening to the silence is a feeling I don't think I’ll ever forget.

These place have impressed me so much so I'd like to visit some more places like that. Could you advise me some other Asian contries with amazing pagods and nature?
Thank you in advance!

I suggest Luang Prabang in Laos if you like beautiful temples. The town is full of them and all easy to visit. It's also a really lovely place to spend some days - good food, friendly bars, two rivers to walk by or take boat trips on, a great morning market, interesting palace, wonderful sunsets.

Also of course the ruins at Angkor in Cambodia are worth considering. Not only Angkor Wat but many others, some much less crowded and very atmospheric. You could easily combine those two as there are regular flights from Siem Reap to Luang Prabang. We did that journey earlier this year as part of a longish tour around Indochina and I thoroughly recommend both countries
