Lack of public transport is usually the big one.

Really really really Curious person

It is basically old Australian slang for The Outback or if you are referring to somewhere really remote in Australia. Another phrase you might hear is "Woop Woop" which means something quite similar.

So it's similar to "In the middle of no-where" :)

A very old thread but the main issue as others have mentioned is public transport.

The major cities are fine. Rural area’s are very poorly serviced.
