I subscribe to the magazine and have been loving the quizzes they send! I've just done the lakes one :).

How did you get on? I managed 14, with a few lucky guesses

I got 17 on that quiz. The 6 months or so last year I spent memorising countries and capitals paid off a bit haha

People do come and go and definitely things are a LOT quieter on here at the moment particularly. The site is really just paying its hosting bills and that's about it for now, so hard for me to justify spending a ton of time on things either. The fact it's managing to stay afloat is pretty good for any travel site at the moment considering the total and utter lack of interest in travelling.

One thought though - do you think it would make sense to add the ability to include photos in forum entries? It might allow some extra discussion types. It's actually a fairly trivial addition to make it possible.

And yes, well aware that we could probably do with more ways to interact on content.

Yes, allowing photos in forum entries would stir more interest and activity.

Yes, I agree, it would be good to be able to include photos here. We could start some interesting discussions, maybe sharing our photos on particular themes or of a particular country.

Oh when we get photos I am definitely starting a "weird signs I've seen when travelling" thread. :)

Ok well I had a look into this and although it is a fairly easy change in the code it's bundled in with a bunch of changes that are difficult to separate from it. These changes will all go up when I finish the server moving work which is my main priority at the moment. At the same time as that you'll get the ability to add images to the forum entries.

Here's an A to Z multi-choice quiz to keep you amused for ten minutes!

Thanks for that it was a bit of fun. Got 21 though one was stab in the dark

The COVID19 lock downs aren't helping for interactions there is less questions than ever before. On another forum I am on things have been getting quieter as topics run out. Not sure what you can do about it, the forces are out of everyone's control.

Well done! I got 12.:) Have you been to any of the webinars that they've been doing recently? I've been to a few and found them to be interesting and enjoyable.

Sounds great, thanks Peter. I like this idea.

Yes, I've been to three - Columbia, Guyana and Iceland. I enjoyed the first and last of these a lot, especially Columbia, but I felt that for Guyana they had too many speakers. I'd rather have heard from fewer people but in more detail, and it made the overall event a bit long. Still, it looked an amazing place to visit!
