Haha, snap! Though obviously a different time as there are little differences. I'll leave this to someone else though.

And there was me wondering what additional photos I could post to give more clues and all I could come up with was some photos of the cave 15 Km to the south east.

Not Vietnam but right region (or sub-region - whatever that is defines as).

I suspect that I went to those same caves too - they were great I thought. I have some a wider view photos (I cropped this to make sure not to give any extra clues) and some from inside, which won't help narrow it down, and looking out.

Well, it's been 20 hours with no responses, so...........

'Myanmar + temple+high rock' image search eventually led to a photo. A bit more research suggests this might be Kyauk Kalat temple complex near Hpa-An?

You highlight one of the aspects I found particularly interesting about the Burmese language - the lack and/or variability of spaces between words. So where you found Kyauk Kalat, I (and Wikipedia) have Kyauk Ka Lat. But it was a challenging language; one amazing tree I wanted to know the name of and I got somebody to write the name down (in Burmese), loaded a Burmese keyboard on my phone but very challenging to use the keyboard.

Your turn.
