The first photo above did it for me....Dubrovnik.

I guessed that the first photo is 15th or 16th century architecture and googling 'Dubrovnik 16th century building' gave me a photo of Sponza Palace?

Dubrovnik, like many other places, was on my list for 2020/21. :-/

Milan?

The last photo reminds me of art during the Mussolini years.

Is the Globe and the telescope a reference to Galileo? Otherwise it looks very eastern Europe to me.

Dao is right...it's Milan. I hoped the Mussolini-style building decoration might be a clue. :-)

Milan is often overlooked by international visitors but I really enjoyed my visit. The duomo/cathedral roof is a maze of wonderful Medieval stonework and there are many ancient churches dating from Roman times; the mid-1800s Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II is beautiful (though its shops are expensive!); there are numerous museums and art galleries; the Navigli (canal) district is interesting and Milan Centrale station (opened in 1931) has some super murals. And the city has excellent aperitivi (free food offered when you purchase a drink between certain times in the late afternoon/evening)!
