So, anyone traveling yet to anywhere worth mentioning since the pandemic started? I haven't been more than 170 miles from my home since early March.....and trust me, no where worth mentioning.

I went up to Annapolis (70 miles each way) for Mohs surgery on my lip.

I've done a fair bit of travelling in my car around the south west corner of Scotland attending various hospitals to have my Eylea injections during the Pandemic lockdowns, but nothing too exciting, Easyjet cancelled my flight to Spain and Morocco earlier in the year so it looks like playing the waiting game until next year when hopefully some sort of 'normal' situation prevails.

Only to places elsewhere in England. We had a stay in Newcastle (as we do every August) and a few days in the Yorkshire Dales. We'll be in Wells for a long weekend at the end of this month and have a few days by the sea in Whitstable in October. I'd love to think we could escape the English winter for a couple of weeks in February, as we do most years, but it seems unlikely at present.

I haven't had a night away from home since January! I've had several trips cancelled or postponed and have rearranged some of them for next year. I hope to go to North Wales for a couple of days in the next few weeks as I really want to get away somewhere but I'm reluctant to book much else at the moment as everything is too uncertain.

We're in London and the only place we've been is to Whitstable to visit family. Went once after lockdown ended and going down again for a few days tomorrow, in case we get locked down again soon!

I had to travel from home (Rhode Island, US) to Portugal in May / Jun because of some issues related to my Portuguese DL. ...And I am just about to travel there again, and still because of exactly the same reason!!! International air travel in the time of Covid was really weird: I was never quite sure if my flights were going to happen or not!!! And eerily deserted airports! But once in the plane, things were kind of ok (provided that one does not mind bag lunches...). Once in Portugal, I did a road trip through the North & Center of the country, and that was rather nice. I had all the sites for myself (including Monsanto and U Coimbra...) !!!

I'm just about to complete my third trip in the U.S. I fly home today from Los Angeles to Atlanta, having spent 16 days on the road visiting four national parks in California: Channel Islands, Yosemite, Kings Canyon and Sequoia. I did some hiking in the Lone Pine area, including the Alabama Hills, Horseshoe Meadow and Mt. Whitney; and visited some lakes and coastal regions, including Montana de Oro State Park near San Luis Obispo. Earlier I took two train trips, the Empire Builder from Milwaukee to Portland, Ore., and the California Zephyr from Sacramento to Denver. I also drove around Oregon visiting Crater Lake National Park and hiked Mt. Shasta in northern California. In early summer I drove to Arkansas, Missouri and Alabama.

A planned December road trip from Senegal to the Gambia, Guinea-Bissau, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia and Cote d'Ivoire was cancelled this week because land borders have not reopened.

A friend and I have booked a February cruise to the sub-Antarctic islands of Australia and New Zealand but we are not sure that will go. I've also booked an August cruise to eastern Greenland and Jan Mayen island.

Just completed a 9 day road trip to outback NSW. We enjoyed some artesian waters, had a look at some opal fields, visited the Chamber of the Blackhand, checked out some bird watching sites, did a short hike to Waa Gorge and picked up some awesome sheepskin boots. All in all it was nice to get out of Sydney. Hoping the state borders open so we can do some trips further afield.

Since January I have not left Hong Kong.

In the summer I managed about 5 trips from my home to Tung Chung to go to the dentist (about a 20 minute trip).

Since then I've managed several trips to North Point to go to work (about an hour away.)

Exciting stuff. I don't think.
