It would be fine to cross this bridge! It looks quite safe and it is worth visiting.
My wife and I would appreciate crossing 516 Arouca when in Portugal...
:)

"This bridge aims at targeting the interest of different types of people: engineering lovers, nature connoisseurs, people who are fond of extreme experiences," said the local council, Arouca Municipality, in a statement.

We are nature lovers and are fond of extreme experiences.

Of course!

You have to die some day, and what better way to go out than acting out an Indiana Jones moment...

Wow, what an adventure it would be. Would be in my itinerary whenever I go to Spain!

Quoting Cottonwood

So, would you walk across this bridge? Personally, I would not. Kinda that "Afraid of heights" thing would prevent me from doing it.

Never, I think it's not possible for me.

I would love to do this walk across the bridge. But like others have said I would not make a special trip just to do it. I would also like to do the one in Gatlinburg that is mentioned in the article. I was last there a year before it was built and have talked to some friends about doing it. It's much closer for me than Portugal so I look forward to checking it out soon as long no one cracks the floor again
