"...difficulties travellers faced during journey.."

For international travelers one thing that would put a crimp in enjoying your holiday overseas is somehow losing the use of your passport!

Some travelers are unlucky and simply lose their passport. Some travelers are careless and someone ends up stealing it. Then there are stupid passengers who rip pages out or cross out or try to remove information from previous stamps.

One traveler who I will always remember is a lady from the UK who was denied entry to Thailand because she had torn pages out of her passport to use as toilet paper. (She is now immortalized on the web. Do a Google type search and read some of the links for her if curious.)

Then there are travelers who fail to keep their passports dry from spilled drinks, rain or even perspiration making the pages soggy and cause the ink to run.

  • * Over the years I have found passports on the plane and in airports.

So be careful with your passport and safeguard it of suffer the consequences!

thats my blog not a company

You may want to take a look at your public profile when that link is followed. It doesn't go to a blog, it goes to a Facebook company page complete with tour listings and prices, photos of newspaper ads, etc.

If it's a Facebook linking error, it's odd that it's happened to be a company in India.

Bit of an aside but I'm a new member and when I look at anybodies profile I don't get to see a website link on their profile. I assume that's to prevent referrer nuisance BOT'ting e.g. using a few very broadly open posts as a means to push a "personal" website (or business website masquerading as a "personal" site).

Hi Ian

When you edit your profile there's the option to include social media links such as your Facebook page. That's the link I was referring to in this case. But people sometimes put links in the "about me" section - I'm not aware there's filtering of this for newbies but then I'm not involved in the technical end of the site, I'm just a user who does janitorial modding duties. :)

Actually that is not such an odd thing. Facebook is all about targeted information and advertising so if there is an error having it reflect your profile, location and browsing history would follow the pattern of the AI

Heavy luggage is my biggest discomfort as well. I like the japanese system where they forward the luggage to your next hotel or even to the airport. Every country in the world should have such things.
